We are looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products and systems.  The ideal candidate will be someone looking to learn and acquire knowledge to apply to the job site. You will learn from experts in the field to further your education and future.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and presses.
• Layout and cut metal sheets according to measurements.
• Assemble and install sheet metal components using rivets, bolts, screws, and welding equipment.
• Install ductwork systems for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and other applications.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Climbing ladders and walking on top of roofs(must not be afraid of heights).

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be mechanically inclined (required)
• Must be able to use hand tools and power tools (required)
• Welding experience is a plus
• Maintenance experience (required)
• Must have experience in construction or similar role (required)
• Must be able to work overtime when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Experience level: 1+ year

Shift:  8 hour shift/Monday through Friday

Work setting: Construction site

Work Location: Piscataway, NJ or On the road
