At Paragon Staffing, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in staffing, workforce management, and client services. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

  • Handle 1099s, W-2s, and year-end reporting.

  • Coordinate with CPA firm for audits and tax filings.

  • Maintain accurate records for vendors, clients, and employees.

  • Implement internal controls and maintain compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in staffing, professional services, or a fast-paced business environment.

  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and MS Excel.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in payroll processing QuickBooks.

  • Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and high-volume transactions.

  • Background in staffing or service-based industries a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000
