At Paragon Staffing, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in staffing, workforce management, and client services. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy across the business.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Handle 1099s, W-2s, and year-end reporting.
Coordinate with CPA firm for audits and tax filings.
Maintain accurate records for vendors, clients, and employees.
Implement internal controls and maintain compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in staffing, professional services, or a fast-paced business environment.
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
Experience in payroll processing QuickBooks.
Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and high-volume transactions.
Background in staffing or service-based industries a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
